First Chiropractic of the Sandhills

Dr. Dackor has practiced chiropractic in the Sandhills of North Carolina for over 25 years. He is a graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic, located in St. Louis MO. Logan College teaches total chiropractic care with emphasis on spinal dynamics and stabilization. Dr. Dackor has been influential in establishing multiple clinics and assisting other doctors in the profession with office management and chiropractic techniques. He is an active member in local and national chiropractic associations. During his career, Dr. Dackor has appeared multiple times on the radio informing the listeners on chiropractic topics and answering their questions. After 16 consecutive years of coaching, Dr. Dackor was honored by the city for his leadership and guidance of many young athletes.

Treatment Procedures
Dr. Dackor is knowledgeable in multiple techniques and procedures acquired at Logan College and at continued postgraduate courses. He uses low force spinal adjusting procedures assuring comfort and safety during the treatment. Special precautions are used when treating geriatric patients. Various therapeutic modalities are used on most patients to enhance recovery. The final goal is the removal of nerve interference and to create spinal stability. Conditions outside the spine, such as bursitis, sports injuries and other musculoskeletal conditions are treated on a daily basis. Patients of all ages are treated.

Medical Referrals
Dr. Dackor has an excellent rapport with the local medical doctors and specialists accepting frequent referrals as well as referring out patients that may need additional care. The office has the capability of ordering special diagnostic tests such as CAT scans, MRI's and blood and urine evaluation. Local emergency facilities are available daily for that unexpected situation. After serving as a US Army reserve officer in the Medical Service Corps, Dr. Dackor has additional experience in treating emergency type injuries.
